I’ve always wanted to do something with an old HD.  This type of project has been on my list for years, one day I’ll get to it. via Hackaday.com

Still Struggling with GTD

Working really hard to make David Allen’s Get Things Done process to work for me.  Actually it’s working very well it’s just that there are so many variable and decisions to be made in the implementation that it takes significant work.

So far (against recommendations) I’m using three “inbox’s” but I don’t really see a way around it.  I find most of my input comes from Toodledo.com, which I have filtered emails feeding that with new tasks and since the vast majority of the time I’m sitting with my laptop it allows for quick input.

On my Android devices Evernote is key.  I can generate input from camera, audio or typewritten notes as well as forward content from the web.

And lastly from my Pulse Smartpen.  This is probably the least used because I never seem to have the notebook with me.  It does come in several sizes but I’m just not in the habit of carrying a pen anymore.  This device really does come in handy and conferences and meeting.  Battery life is phenomenal.  My model needs to be docked in order to process my captures, but rumor has it that future models will have wifi.

Ever since I got my Naga Nostromo game pad, my brain has been spinning with all the endless possible configurations.  Now I want the gaming keyboard and mouse as well which will infinitely increase the possible configuration options.  Crazy stuff!
